About Me
Who I Am
I'm Josephine Snow and just to share a little bit about me. I am a trained British voiceover artist with a warm, clear, versatile sound ideal for commercial, narration, corporate, audiobooks and character projects. I bring a friendly, grounded tone to every read, delivering broadcast-ready audio from my home studio in Waterlooville, UK.

My Voice
My voice is described as warm, bright, positive and friendly - a voice that feels approachable while still carrying clarity and confidence. Whether it's a bright commercial, a calm documentary, or a gentle audiobook excerpt, I focus on delivering reads that feel natural, polished, and emotionally attuned.
Training and Background
I've completed formal voiceover training focused on performance technique, vocal control, script interpretation, and audio production. My background in storytelling and creative work gives me a strong instinct for pacing, tone, and emotional nuance - essential skills for narration and character-supported reads.
Reading is something that I have loved doing since I was a child and I always found that reading aloud made the stories even better so I learned a long time ago how to make stories sound and how to make it sound like I am not reading at all but telling a story how it should be told.
My training covers:
Voiceover Performance - Breath control, pacing, vocal placement, and character support.
Script Interpretation - Understanding tone, intention, and audience.
Audio Production - Clean editing, noise management, and broadcast-ready delivery.
Studio Workflow - Self-direction, consistency, and professional communication.
This foundation allows me to approach every project with confidence, care and a clear understanding of what clients need from a modern voiceover artist.
Professional Home Studio
I record from a treated home studio designed for clean, consistent audio suitable for commerical, narration, and long-form projects.
My setup includes:

My Story
My love of storytelling dates back to when I was a little girl, always reading and writing. I was born in England but from the age of seven I grew up in Scotland. I'm sad to say that I was bullied at school for being English but even though I didn't know it then, that actually gave me an advantage because to stop the bullies I picked up the Scottish accent and can now easily switch between the two and my Scottish accent sounds as authentic as my natural English accent.
It also gave me another advantage, because I didn't have any friends, I spent my days in my room either writing or reciting Disney movies thereby allowing me to learn the general American accent.
I am a writer as well as a voiceover artist so I can always see a script from the writer's point of view and the voiceover's point of view which helps when interpreting a script.
I am a big gamer as well and have been gaming since the age of nine and because my first ever console was the gameboy back in 1989, I was amazed in later years when they started to make games that had voices in them when I was so used to reading the dialogue and it has been something that has grown stronger with new games and new consoles and I remember thinking to myself that it was something I wanted to do so gaming is where I discovered voiceover and my journey started from there and it has been a long-travelled road but I knew the destination would be worth it.
